Trade and Stewardship officer

We are seeking a Trade and Stewardship Officer who will play a vital role in supporting the fishers and communities of the five Nations through business development, mentorship, and culturally grounded economic initiatives. This new position is part of a three-year initiative aimed at promoting traditional trade practices, cooperative economic models, and sustainable fishing operations. The Officer will provide direct support to fishers, deliver workshops in collaboration with Elders and knowledge holders, and explore opportunities related to green energy, market access, and branding for the fisheries sector, with a particular emphasis on youth mentorship.
