Ha’oom Fisheries Society welcomes and encourages work with researchers that enriches the collective capacity of the Ahousaht Nation and the Tla-o-qui-aht, Hesquiaht, Mowachaht/Muchalaht, and Ehattesaht/Chinehkint First Nations (the five Nations) and incorporates the Nuu-chah-nulth traditional authority of the Ha’wiih (the hereditary leadership of the five Nations) to manage and govern the ha-ha-huułi (the Chiefly territories of the five Nations’ Ha’wiih). Ha’oom welcomes projects leading to knowledge mobilization of accurate and respectful descriptions of the five Nations’ practices and analysis.
